Bill Fralin,
President / Attorney


Bill founded The Estate Planning & Elder Law Firm, P.C. in 1994. Bill limits his practice to the areas of estate planning and administration, incapacity planning, Medicaid, asset protection planning, and elder law.

He is one of (15) fifteen attorneys practicing in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, certified in Elder Law (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation. He has attained a rating of “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available for legal ability and ethics; was named in the November 2004 Washingtonian Magazine as one of the top Elder Law attorneys in the region; was named in the December 2005 Virginia Business Magazine as one of Virginia's Legal Elite in Wills, Trusts, and Estates; and was selected as 2006 Virgina Super Lawyer appearing in the July 2006 issue of Virginia Super Lawyers magazine.

Mr. Fralin lectures frequently on topics relating to estate planning, estate administration, incapacity planning, Medicaid, asset protection planning and elder law.

Alicia R. Truitt,

Alicia limits her practice to the areas of estate planning and elder law. She oversees the drafting and execution of our estate and incapacity planning documents. She practices in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Alicia joined the firm in 2000.

Eugene Sim,
Attorney


Gene limits his practice to the areas of estate planning and elder law. He received his Bachelor of Science from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in Metallurgical Engineering and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He is admitted to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Gene lectures frequently on topics relating to estate planning, estate administration, incapacity planning, Medicaid, asset protection planning and elder law.

Brian Melson,
